NBA 2K is all about competition, but that means fair play as well as appropriate behavior to your teammates and competitors. We always do our best to keep the game safe and comfortable for our players, but there are times when we rely on the community to let us know that something went wrong.
Your first stop on the road to reporting should be to check the NBA 2K: Player Code of Conduct where you'll see the guidelines for what is okay and what should be out of bounds.
Submitting a Report
When you're set on making the report, here are the steps to do so in-game:
- Head to the Socials tab.
- Scroll to the player you'd like to report.
- Select Report/Block Player.
- Select what you'd like to report the player for:
- Offensive Language
- Cheating / Exploiting
- Hate Speech / Extremism
- Logo
- This includes any Pro-Am Team images, custom images used on the court, ect.
- Player Appearance / Clothing
- Text
- This includes any customizable text on jerseys, courts, team names and crew names.
- Once the reason is selected, you'll be prompted to confirm the report.
Additionally, you can submit a report with 2K Support directly. Be sure to have:
- The reported player's name
- The reported player's platform (if it's different from your own)
- The reason for the report:
- Player Boosting/Cheating
- Hacks or Mods
- Privacy / Doxing
- Fraud
- Spam
- Realistic Gore or Violence
- Suicide or Self-Harm
- Adult Sexual Harassment
- Adult Sexually Explicit Content
- Minor Abuse or Child Sexual Content
- Bullying, Threats or Harassment
- Hate Speech & Discrimination
- Terrorism or Violent Extremism
- Other Illegal content
- Screenshots or videos of the reported behavior in action. You can find out more on how to capture screenshots and videos here.
NOTE: Only one player can be reported at a time through 2K Support. If you'd like to report multiple people, please submit a new ticket for each person with the above information.

Q: What happens after I make a report in-game?
A: After submitting the report, you'll receive a notification on screen that the report has been successful, so rest assured it has been delivered to us for review. For the sake of being fair referees, we want you to know that we shoot for every report to have a thorough analysis and meaningful resolution.
Q: What happens after I make a report to 2K Support?
A: After submitting the report, the category and report details will be sent to 2K. We may contact you using the email address on your NBA 2K Account to request further information in order to make a decision. Once a decision has been taken, we will notify you of the outcome of the report using your email address, unless there is not one associated with your report/account or you have asked us not to contact you in relation to your report.
Q: Can I cancel a report after submitting it?
A: Once you’ve submitted your report, it cannot be withdrawn, but we will be sure to do any investigation and review we need before taking action.
