The FIBA Tournament is back with a few new changes. Check out the details below to ensure you earn the rewards for hitting all those requirements for the FIBA Tournament.
The first FIBA Tournament will be played in Chapter 11 of the MyCAREER storyline, Fire & Concrete. This quest, called Sibling Rivalry, will grant 500 VC upon completion.
Note that this is not the final tournament, and there are still more to play! Starting from the second offseason, a FIBA Tournament is held every 4 years, with the first tournament after the completion of Chapter 11 having a grand prize of 25,000 VC for winning the tournament.
The rewards depend on full participation for each qualifier game, the finals, and winning each game. Simming or fouling out will not count as participation and your player will be ineligible. “Simming to End” or “Simming to end (with VC)” will also count as non-participation.
All games, qualifiers and finals included, must be won. Losing even 1 game will make your player ineligible for the rewards.
On the first attempt, any rewards received apart from normal VC salary can only be earned once per save. Winning all qualifiers and the finals of the first FIBA tournament played after the completion of Chapter 11 can earn up to 25,000 VC. Any games lost, or with no participation, can grant a diminished reward.
The rewards can only be received once per MyPLAYER. Each new MyPLAYER created can also earn this prize if that specific save has not earned it before.
