NBA 2K: Ban Appeals Information

PUBLISHED:
UPDATED:

2K has a firm Code of Conduct and Terms of Service that provide the rules for all players. If your account is found in violation of any of these, there are different actions that may be applied. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Forced name change
  • Removal of tattoos or appearance change
  • Loss of access to certain game modes or features, or restricted use of online services
  • Temporary suspension of access to the game
  • Permanent ban of the account

Temporary Suspension

If your account has received a temporary suspension, our 2K Support team will not be able to overturn that status. Once the time has lapsed you will be able to rejoin the game. Keep in mind that if your suspension was due to tattoos or appearance, you may need to make changes before you get back into play.

Permanent Ban

In the case of a permanent game ban, you can submit an appeal by replying to the notification received at your registered email address. If you don't believe you received an email notice or that address is not accessible, you can go to our ticket form and submit a request under the game that is involved, select Account, and then let us know that your account has been banned as the topic. Enter your details and this will create a ticket for our team to review.

Ban Appeals

For permanent bans you will receive a single review with your appeal. Once that appeal decision has been made, it is our final answer, and further appeals won't be taken into consideration.

Appeal Wait Times

We always do our best to address tickets as quickly as possible, however during times like a game launch when we may be experiencing a higher than usual volume of tickets, our response times may be longer than normal. To avoid delays, please don't open multiple tickets for the same issue. Doing so may further delay our response. We appreciate your patience as we address cases in the order they are received, however some appeals require additional review and may take longer to resolve.
