No, there is no on-court gameplay within NBA 2K HQ. It is a companion app to complement the main console game, without offering any opportunities to play games itself.

How can I unlink NBA 2K HQ from my NBA account on my console?
Because you're logging in from the mobile app, no unlink needs to happen! To switch what console account you are accessing, log out on NBA 2K HQ and log in to the correct console account.
What happens if I delete my account from within NBA 2K HQ?
If you delete your account from the mobile app—not deleting the app itself, but the account deletion using the option inside the app—all content and progress on your mobile and linked console account will be lost, across all titles. 2K Support cannot restore this lost content, so use that delete button with caution and care!
- To delete your account, click View User Profile from the App Settings Menu. There is a Delete Account button at the bottom of the page.

Can I make purchases in NBA 2K HQ?
There are no in-app purchases available within NBA 2K HQ. All purchases must be made on your console account.
What are the new parental approval permissions?

I have already set up parent/guardian controls on my console/PC account. Do I need to set them here?
If you are connecting an account that has already gone through the parental permissions on console or PC, then you do not need to do this again.

MyNBA2K Companion App is being sunset from Friday, August 21, 2026 - when we launch our brand new app, NBA 2K HQ. MyNBA2K Companion App is being delisted from the app stores on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
